Job Summary

St. David's South Austin Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT) Clinic. As a member of our team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with blood cancer and hematologic disorders in the outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with blood cancer and hematologic disorders
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide emotional, spiritual, religious, and cultural support to patients and their significant others
  • Apply principles of oncology nursing to provide high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in oncology nursing

Requirements

  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Provider certification (preferred)
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification (preferred)
