Moyer & Son Inc is seeking a skilled Pool Service Technician to join our team. As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks to repair and maintain pools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Pool Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Work from service orders, verbal instructions, and manuals to remove, repair, and install pool equipment and pool systems.
- Pool Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean pools and equipment, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal pool conditions.
- Customer Service: Instruct customers on how to operate pool equipment, maintain pool conditions, and explain pool services.
- Supply Management: Maintain an adequate supply of parts and materials for assigned calls.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Write reports and records of service calls, parts used, and time spent for billing purposes.
- Equipment Operation: Use hand and power tools, company vehicles, and other department equipment as authorized.
- Quality and Safety: Observe all company rules, including safety, quality, and clean work areas.
- Education: High School Graduate or general education degree (GED); over one year, up to and including three years related experience and/or training.
- Language Skills: Must have the ability to read and write the English language.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability: Use of some judgment to comply with pool service for repairs and maintenance involving the making of minor decisions.
