Cardiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Optum NY, a leading clinician-led care organization, is seeking a dedicated and patient-centric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Cardiology team at our Midtown, NYC location on East 37th Street.

Responsibilities- Assessing and diagnosing cardiac conditions in patients
- Helping to perform cardiac testing and interpreting results
- Working with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Prescribing medication and administering treatment
- Counseling and educating patients on cardiac conditions and prevention

Requirements- Master's degree as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
- Certified as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA or as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC and/or AANP
- Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the State of New York
- Active and unrestricted DEA License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years post-graduate clinical experience highly preferred
