Position Highlights:

  • Collegial multispecialty group practice with a large referral base
  • Offices offer a broad array of cardiovascular services: exercise stress testing, non-invasive imaging, echocardiogram and vascular studies, nuclear stress testing, pacemakers, and defibrillators
  • All specialties on the same EMR
  • Robust in-house diagnostic testing facility
  • Clinic days are 8:30am – 5:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and diagnosing cardiac conditions in patients
  • Helping to perform cardiac testing and interpreting results
  • Working with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Prescribing medication and administering treatment
  • Counseling and educating patients on cardiac conditions and prevention

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
  • Certified as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA or as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC and/or AANP
  • Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the State of New York
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years post graduate clinical experience highly preferred

New York Residents Only: The salary range for New York residents is $109,513 to 147,146 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
