Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate ongoing safety training and conduct new hire safety training sessions to ensure a knowledgeable and compliant workforce.
  • Perform regular job site safety inspections, including completing reports, photo documentation, and implementing corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct monthly safety meetings to promote a culture of safety and best practices.
  • Coordinate the purchase and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with our Field Operation Manager and Service Managers to ensure employees have the necessary gear to perform their jobs safely.
  • Train, coach, and mentor employees to maintain a safe and knowledgeable workforce, with a focus on promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Conduct investigations of property damage and employee accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain all safety records and monthly reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Attend and participate in Pre-construction meetings as required to ensure safety protocols are in place.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills to effectively coordinate safety training and inspections.
  • Dependable, reliable, and self-sufficient to work independently and collaboratively with other management and staff.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively with other management and staff to achieve safety goals.
  • Availability to respond to emergency situations or employee injuries to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record to perform job site inspections and safety training.
  • Willingness to travel for job site inspections and safety training to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with computers, smartphones, and other electronic devices to maintain safety records and reports.
  • Prior experience in leading safety programs preferred to ensure a smooth transition and effective implementation of safety protocols.
