Job Summary:

CCMS & Associates is seeking a skilled Field Adjuster to join our team. As a Field Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating claims, inspecting damages, and recommending claim reserves.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations of claims, including obtaining recorded statements and inspecting claimed damages.
  • Recommend claim reserves based on investigation, through well-supported reserve reports.
  • Obtain and interpret official reports, review applicable coverage forms and endorsements, and provide a thorough analysis of coverage and any coverage issues.
  • Maintain acceptable product quality through compliance with established best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of first-party commercial and/or residential property adjusting experience.
  • Maintain own current estimating software - Xactimate preferred (Symbility experience a plus).
  • Working computer - internet access and Microsoft Word required.
  • Strong time management and customer service skills.
  • Experience in preparing Statement of Loss, Proof of Loss, and denial letters.
  • North Carolina State adjusters license.
  • Valid drivers license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree.
  • AIC, IICRC, HAAG or other professional designations.
