Catholic Health Service is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team. As an Athletic Trainer - Patient Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our patients, ensuring their safe return to athletic activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough evaluations of injuries sustained by patients during athletic events, providing appropriate first aid and emergency care as needed.
  • Rehabilitation and Conditioning: Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans to help patients recover from injuries, ensuring a safe and successful return to athletic activities.
  • Communication and Coordination: Maintain open communication with patients, parents, coaching staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Injury Prevention and Risk Management: Participate in activities to prevent injuries and manage risks, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Supply Management and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patient injuries and advise on inventory and requisitioning of supplies.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor or Master of Science in Athletic Training required, with Athletic Trainer certification through NATABOC.
  • Availability: Weekends availability required.
