Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Manager to join our Institutional Buy Side group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and creating products that Portfolio Managers and Traders heavily rely on throughout the trading day. Your expertise in market structure, trading, and trade analytics will enable you to guide specific areas of our Execution Management System (EMS) based on our strategic vision and client requests.

Key Responsibilities:

Work directly with clients to gather feedback and implement new features and reports
Develop prototypes to confirm features with clients prior to engaging engineering
Write user stories for engineering to implement into production
Troubleshoot issues that arise in TCA that are related to market data and/or trade data
On-board clients into FactSet's Trading Analytics suite
Provide subject matter expertise
Provide client training and demo at trade shows/conferences
Track usage at firm and user level
UAT for development work
Suggest new product enhancements based on client feedback
Identify and pursue prospects/sales opportunities on both buy-side and sell-side

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
10 years' experience working in capital markets
Trading experience
Knowledge of global market structure for equities, FX, Futures, Options, and Fixed Income

Preferred Background:

Passionate about trading analytics
Highly analytical, methodical, inquisitive, and persevering mindset focused on data-driven delivery solutions
A deep understanding of trading workflows for institutional investors
Understanding of statistics and machine learning
Excellent communications skills
Understanding of tools being used in product development lifecycle including R, Python, Apache
Ability to visualize complex data sets to enable users to easily understand performance
Understand trader pain-points and be able to articulate solution
