We are now looking for a skilled Product Owner to join our team and contribute to our growth and success. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the development of our functional product details and ensuring that we deliver market-leading enterprise products.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $190,000 - $240,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have 5+ years' experience managing products through technical program delivery using common management structures, with direct involvement in requirements analysis, documentation, quality assurance, and resource allocation. You will also have sufficient technical competency to work with a multi-disciplinary team on various technical issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the firm, principal engineers, designers, QA, and the rest of the engineering team to ensure a market-leading enterprise product.
  • Manage business and technical side requirements, bringing features to production.
  • Assist in developing products, features, and roadmaps by listing out the functionality to be completed within various time frames.
  • Participate in SAFe PI Planning by breaking down specific business or technical requirement documents, translating work to be completed through collaboration with all parties involved.
  • Ensure details within Epics/Stories/Tasks etc. are supporting business and/or technical requirements and documented appropriately.
  • Work closely and take ownership of relationships with third-party vendors where applicable to provide them requirements, regular communication, and ensure timely delivery of changes, coordinate testing, and change management.
  • Continuously interface with internal and external audiences and respond to product-related questions and requests.
  • Create UAT test plans, and technical documentation.
  • Work closely with the Release Manager to design and maintain release notes and documentation where needed.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
  • Identify significant product, organizational, and process opportunities and drive them to fruition often without explicit direction and resourcing.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience managing products through technical program delivery using common management structures, with direct involvement in requirements analysis, documentation, quality assurance, and resource allocation.
  • Sufficient technical competency to work with a multi-disciplinary team on various technical issues.
  • A solid understanding of SDLC and modern web-application technologies.
  • Experience working with the Financial Services industry in Product Management or Product Ownership capacity.
  • Understanding of trading, securities, clearance, settlement, and custody.
  • Excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with internal and external development teams.
  • Demonstrable technical writing experience.
  • Experience working with regulated applications (Financial).
  • Bonus: Experience with security testing and auditing, load/performance testing, and test automation would be beneficial.
