- Preparing and serving food items, including menu planning and inventory management
- Restocking food areas, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and maintaining a tidy workspace
- Receiving payment for food and beverages using a computerized register, ensuring accurate transactions and customer satisfaction
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 16 years of age
- Previous customer service experience, retail counting, and reconciliation of money
- Knowledge of food service principles and practices
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
On-the-job training will be provided to ensure the successful candidate has the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role. Depending on location, Serv Safe certification may be required within a designated timeframe. Basic Life Support (BLS) may also be required, depending on location requirements.
