Brand Marketing Specialist

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is a leading entertainment and sports agency, with global expertise in various fields. We are seeking a skilled Account Executive to join our team in Kansas City, MO. This role will focus on suite hosting for a prominent telecom brand, requiring strong communication and project management skills.
The Role
This Account Executive will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of suite night hosting. The candidate will interface with clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and flawless execution. Key responsibilities include:
- On-site lead for multi-night suite hosting
- Collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure consistent communication and execution
- Support in developing and managing timelines, run of show, food and beverage management, gifting, suite branding, budget management, and reconciliation
- Compilation of materials for weekly reports, activation decks, post-event recaps, case studies, client follow-ups, and status documents/project plans
- On-site event logistics support, including inventory maintenance, premium procurement, brand ambassador manual development, and training
- Ensuring adherence to agency, client, and venue protocols, including vendor agreements, accounting processes, recaps, and more
- Utilization of agency resources efficiently
- Demonstration of high-level critical thinking, with a focus on proactiveness and attention to detail
- Support for client's online ticketing request and distribution platform, tracking multiple sporting and entertainment events with over 30,000 tickets
- Ticket troubleshooting and resolving frequent encounters when accessing tickets
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1+ years of experience in sports and entertainment experiential and/or event marketing
- General understanding of current brand consulting and experiential/hospitality marketing industry
- Demonstrated experience in positions requiring discretion, judgment, tact, and poise, with a strong sense of reliability and trustworthiness
- High-level critical thinking, with a focus on proactiveness and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Team-oriented, able to pivot and take on new tasks quickly
- Able to prioritize multiple projects with ease, manage deadlines, coordinate key timelines, and perform under pressure with strong attention to detail
- Not afraid to 'pitch in,' 'roll up your sleeves,' and get it done, taking initiative and tackling tasks of any size
- Knowledge of working with detailed budgets
- Polished written and verbal skills, with strong communication in written format through well-crafted email correspondence
- Curious, energetic, and able to pull insights and present research to direct reports
- Ability to listen and ask poignant questions
- Interest in entertainment and pop culture, following trends, watching sports, awards shows, reading blogs, and more
- Able to utilize agency resources appropriately and efficiently
- Willingness to work early mornings or late nights to accommodate weekends and holidays (if applicable)
- Ability to build trust through relationship building, confidence, and business acumen
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Arts, Business, or equivalent work experience
Preferred
Work experience at an experiential agency or hospitality experience is preferred.
Location
This role is based out of Kansas City, MO, and will require on-site venue support in the Midwest Regional Area.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $56,000 - $73,000. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. The salary may vary based on relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria. Please discuss with a CAA Recruiter for more information.
