Role Summary:

As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and quality of parts and components through meticulous inspections. Your expertise in utilizing various measurement instruments will be essential in verifying that our products align with design specifications and quality benchmarks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Accurate Inspections: Utilize calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and other measurement tools to perform thorough inspections of parts and components.
  • Ensure Measurement Integrity: Calibrate tools and verify the precision of instruments to maintain measurement accuracy.
  • Inspect Production Components: Carry out detailed inspections for production parts, including PPAP and IR components.
  • Evaluate Prototype Parts: Measure and assess prototype components to aid in engineering development.
  • Interpret Technical Documentation: Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Document Findings: Record measurement data, analyze results, and document any non-conformances.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to measurement processes and techniques.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work alongside Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to address measurement discrepancies.
  • Conduct Gage R&R Studies: Validate measurement processes through Gage R&R studies.

Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
