Position Summary

The responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Executing various tasks related to material handling, packaging, labeling, confirming part identity through detail comparison, receiving, assembling, and storing parts, materials, and products.
  • Tasks may involve preparing materials for shipment, packing items, verifying materials and quantities, maintaining inventory, confirming stock counts, and relocating parts and materials to designated areas.
  • Utilizing a range of motorized and manual material handling equipment, as well as semi-automated and automated packaging systems, including scales and conveyor systems.
  • Carrying out tasks based on printed work orders and other written or verbal instructions.
  • Proficient in using computer terminals.
  • Maintaining records related to shipping, receiving, and unloading operations.
  • Performing additional duties as required, which may involve working across various departments.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in warehouse or material handling is required.
  • Experience with Reach Trucks and Cherry Picker/Order Picker is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a tow tugger is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, DLX, WMS, and SAP software is highly preferred.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs for certain tasks.
  • Job functions require skills in arithmetic, reading, writing, and the use of measuring tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are essential.
  • Availability to work the required shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, including overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Compensation:

The base hourly wage for this full-time position is $19.50. Individual pay is determined based on various factors, including work experience, job knowledge, and role complexity.
