Job Title: General Manager, Circuit Products

Coastal Mechanics Circuit Products is seeking a highly organized and experienced General Manager to lead our rapidly growing company. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing production and operations, developing and optimizing our personnel team, and providing leadership and coaching to our team players.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level reporting and feedback on Business Unit performance to ownership
  • Monitor and oversee CMCP production and operations staff, develop and further optimize the business unit personnel team reporting to them
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to team players on a regular basis
  • Manage operational cost, oversee cash management, and business unit direction at a high level
  • Oversee facility operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, execution of contracts and deliverables, customer satisfaction, and cost-effective management of resources
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of the business to achieve the budgeted operating profit and working capital targets
  • Manage QMS (quality management systems) to ensure compliance with internal and external standards (AS9100D)
  • Maintain and drive KPIs for safety, customer quality, project profit, on-time delivery, etc.
  • Oversee the planning and sourcing of suppliers for all jobs and projects
  • Conduct regular status meetings and documentation of production planning with team members
  • Ensure all products comply with industry standards (e.g., FAA, DoD, NASA) and customer specifications
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could affect production, financial performance, or regulatory compliance
  • Work closely with HR to recruit, retain, and develop talent across the organization
  • Perform some level of business development and capture activities for the business unit
  • Perform other reasonable duties as needed and as assigned by ownership for overall business unit operations

Requirements:

  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings for electronics components
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with all stakeholders (customers, vendors, other counterparties)
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
  • Ability to oversee the process of acquiring goods and services
  • Ability to guide the direction of job execution as it relates to a variety of multi-faceted material and process types
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years of General Management experience in electronics-focused custom manufacturing, assembly, and procurement operations required
  • Must have P&L responsibility experience
  • Aerospace & Defense sector background is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times
