About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team in Bloomington, MN. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for providing support on a variety of environmental projects, including Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, environmental monitoring during construction projects, remedial project support, and on-call response support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Phase I ESA reports, including writing and reviewing reports
  • Collect and analyze soil, water, soil vapor, and material samples
  • Collect air monitoring and sampling data
  • Perform field audits and inspections
  • Oversight of contractors and equipment maintenance
  • Organize and review data, and prepare reports
  • Interact with regulatory agencies, such as the MPCA
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations and due diligence
  • Experience with sampling equipment and site characterization
  • Demonstrated ability to support complex and time-sensitive projects
  • Excellent client interaction and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and current annual 8-hour refresher
  • ICS and related training and demonstrated first responder experience
  • Asbestos certification
Work Environment

The work environment will consist of a mix of office and field work. Travel requirements may range from day-long projects that do not require overnight stays to multi-day field projects that require overnight stays. Work locations may include urban and rural areas and can occur in any season and in all types of weather conditions.
