We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead our healthcare team in providing exceptional patient care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: You will serve as a leader of the healthcare team, delegating tasks appropriately and demonstrating accountability. You will uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures, principles of responsibilities, and applicable state, federal, and local laws.
- Nursing Process: You will develop and/or contribute to the individualized plan of care that reflects assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the outcomes of that plan. You will ensure that the plan is discussed with the patient, family/significant others, and completed in a timely manner.
- Documentation: You will chart accurately, legibly, dated, and timed. Your documentation will reflect the nursing process and interventions and evaluations taken.
- Clinical Outcomes: You will discuss patient findings and progress toward outcomes with physicians and other members of the healthcare team. You will demonstrate competencies during the probationary period and ongoing completion by departmental competency validation.
Requirements:
- Education: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in using computer systems effectively and efficiently for optimal patient care.
