CPE Network Engineer Role

At ADEX, we are seeking a highly skilled CPE Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and optimization of customer premise equipment used to support FTI services.

Key Responsibilities:
a. Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop CPE designs based upon FTI Network requirements.
b. Evaluate CPE designs in relation to critical infrastructure and service needs for the FTI network.
c. Plan and design CPE to support both legacy and modern telco services network solutions.
d. Implement solutions that meet customer requirements.
e. Participate in after-action reviews to resolve technical challenges.
f. Create and maintain documentation for engineering and NOC teams.

Requirements:
a. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical discipline.
b. Minimum 4 years of prior WAN Telecommunications networks experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior WAN Telecommunications networks experience.
c. Strong project management skills capable of adhering to deadlines and completing tasks per project schedule.
d. Ability to work in a team environment and is self-directed and self-motivated.
e. Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings and technical procedures.
f. Domain knowledge of the Telecommunications industry, including carrier services, provisioning terminology, CISCO routers, and network infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:
a. Ability to design, implement, and support Ethernet and TDM network infrastructures.
b. Experience with leading network vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Fujitsu, and RAD.
c. Familiarity with drawing tools such as AutoCAD.
