Responsible for planning and preparing all non-patient meals, including special events, in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Plan and prepare non-patient meals, ensuring compliance with departmental standards and regulations.
  • Provide input into policy development, procedure/protocol development, and performance appraisals.
  • Monitor food production and service, ensuring quality and efficiency.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associates Degree (or equivalent) in related area, such as food production, nutrition, etc.
  • Two years experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare facility or public institution.

  • Leadership skills, including demonstrated willingness to pursue leadership roles with increasing levels of accountability.
  • Technical knowledge of food and supply product specifications.
