Role Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated Escalation Engineer (Tier-IV) to enhance our core applications team. This team specializes in extracting and analyzing extensive datasets from cutting-edge IT technologies. Responsibilities include developing user space crawlers and kernel modules that efficiently process data while minimizing resource consumption.
The Escalation Engineer is expected to rapidly learn and adapt to evolving technologies to deliver exceptional support for our product offerings. This role involves investigating customer challenges with our products and ensuring timely resolutions in collaboration with our support and development teams.
Key Duties:
- Deliver expert-level technical assistance for our product suite.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve intricate customer issues.
- Develop and implement patches, fixes, and diagnostic tools.
- Take ownership of escalated issues and drive them to resolution.
- Serve as a technical liaison in collaborative efforts with other internal teams.
- Allocate 20% of your time to code development and 80% to troubleshooting and product issue analysis.
- Collaborate with engineers across various product components to ensure success.
- Gain both broad and in-depth knowledge of our products.
- Enhance documentation to train support engineers in resolving support cases.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in software development using C# and .NET technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise with SQL databases and writing stored procedures.
- Experience in web application development.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Understanding and experience with multithreaded programming.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work occasional scheduled night and weekend shifts.
