Maintenance Technician

Revision Military is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and ancillary equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, as well as excellent troubleshooting and repair skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment.
- Repair and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Manage spare parts inventory.
- Lead troubleshooting and mechanical repair of equipment and processes.
- Follow safe maintenance practices and procedures.
- Complete work orders in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Work hours may include occasional nights and weekend overtime.
- Provide maintenance coverage for other team members.
- Work in a team atmosphere to perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Work safely by following policies and procedures in an industrial environment.
Requirements
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent.
- 3-6 years' experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment in an industrial setting.
- Ability to prioritize and complete work with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in a team environment with a focus on safety, quality, and delivery.
- Ability to research parts, drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
- Well-versed in manufacturing safety practices and Lockout/Tag out protocols.
- Ability to safely work at varying heights throughout the facility using proper safety protocol.
- Ability to demonstrate safe lifting capability for 50 pounds on a regular basis and operate lifting mechanisms for heavier loads.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, samples, specifications, and follow verbal instructions.
- Computer skills with Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook) a plus. Familiarity with Solid Works a plus.
- Good written/verbal communication skills and a creative thinker. Possess excellent people skills and work well in a team environment.
- Open-minded and willing to learn new skill sets.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices is helpful.
- Foster team work and take ownership of the equipment and facility.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC's.
- Experience using shop equipment, such as drill press, mills, lathe, surface grinder, press break, shear, crane, forklift.
- Experience using calipers, indicators, micrometers, and multimeters.
- Experience with air compressors, HVAC equipment, and electrical gear.
Work Environment
- May have to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Manufacturing and office-based environment.
