Company Overview: The Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) is a leading organization that strengthens democracy around the globe through private enterprise and market-oriented reform.

Position: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Officer to join our North Africa team.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Business Development: Develop and implement a country strategy to advance CIPE's mission in Morocco, identifying new funding and partnership opportunities, and analyzing project proposal requests.
  • Project Implementation: Manage the implementation of a portfolio of grants and activities, collaborating with partners to refine project calendars and implementation plans, and overseeing financial management and stewardship of funds.
  • Team Management and Coordination: Collaborate with multiple CIPE departments to achieve programmatic goals, supervise junior program staff, and contribute to external communications.

Qualifications:

  • Experience and Knowledge: Minimum 3-6 years' professional experience with international assistance programs, working in partnership with civil society organizations, preferably including business membership organizations.
  • Skills and Qualities: Professional-level French is required, with knowledge of Arabic highly useful; demonstrated superior English writing skills, strong critical thinking and analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced team context.

Work Environment: The work is performed primarily indoors with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions when required.

Employee's Responsibility in an Emergency: The employee is expected to respond to emergency situations involving the safety of fellow employees, including evacuation of the building.
