The Tri-Town School Union is seeking a highly experienced Facilities Operations Supervisor to oversee the management and maintenance of our school facilities. This leadership role is vital to ensuring our buildings and grounds provide a safe, clean, and efficient environment that supports quality education and community use.

Job Description:

This position involves supervising the day-to-day operations of school buildings and grounds, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standards. The successful candidate will conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and readiness.

Key responsibilities include staff supervision, budget oversight, maintenance planning, safety & compliance, vendor coordination, energy efficiency, and emergency response. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in a progressive facilities management supervisory role(s) and proven experience in facilities management, preferably in an educational setting.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a facilities management supervisory role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, construction principles, and maintenance processes
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and teams
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is estimated at $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Tri-Town School Union offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
