Position Overview

The Field Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the secure and efficient functioning of the gas gathering system and associated machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support capital initiatives and daily operations related to the gas gathering infrastructure.

  • Conduct minor repairs with guidance from senior personnel.
  • Regularly perform pipeline pigging to uphold operational efficiency.
  • Assist with measurement tasks, including sample collection and related activities as required.
  • Complete necessary documentation and reporting accurately.
  • Conduct daily inspections of compressor stations and compile various reports.
  • Respond promptly to equipment and compressor callouts.
  • Report any safety and environmental concerns to the supervisor.
  • Maintain company vehicles and equipment in good condition.
  • Oversee contracted work as necessary.
  • Explore innovative methods for operational improvements.
  • Communicate excessive downtime to relevant personnel.
  • Provide assistance in other business areas as needed.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of company vehicles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of compressor stations, gas gathering systems, and processing operations.
  • Familiarity with mechanical equipment.
  • Experience in safe handling of flammable gases, liquids, and high-pressure systems.
  • Adhere to company policies, practices, and regulatory standards.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Capability to present information effectively in both individual and small group settings.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense to resolve day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Capacity to make prompt and rational decisions in challenging situations.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Valid state driver's license with an insurable driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly bend, stoop, and move between different levels, lifting loads up to 50 lbs. and manually transporting loads up to 75 lbs.
  • Frequent entry and exit from vehicles, including travel over rough terrain.
  • Walk an average of 5 to 7 miles daily.
  • Subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing requirements.
  • Willingness to work overtime and respond to callouts as needed.
