Job Summary

The Lease Operator position at Titan Energy Services is a critical role that requires a strong commitment to health and safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a deadline-oriented environment.

This position involves the daily monitoring and operating of power pumps to produce flow of oil or gas from well site locations. Lease Operators must be able to work in all types of inclement and extreme weather conditions and are responsible for monitoring pumps and flow lines for gas and fluid leaks, as well as performing routine maintenance on various equipment around the well site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor control panels during pumping operations to ensure materials are being pumped at the correct pressure, density, rate, and concentration.
  • Operate engines and pumps to shut off wells according to production schedules and switch flow of oil into storage tanks.
  • Gauge oil and gas production, perform routine maintenance on equipment, and repair gas and oil meters and gauges.
  • Utilize onsite equipment to monitor the conditions of fluid contained in storage tanks and ensure tanks are not becoming overloaded.
  • Ensure loads are being picked up in a timely manner and maintain excellent working relationships with customers, sub-contractors, and personnel.
Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of oil and gas operations experience required, 3+ years preferred.
  • Prior pumping experience is preferred, and the ability to lift up to 75lbs is necessary.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and successfully complete and pass company drug screen, background check.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with MS office and e-mail are preferred.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to display a strong customer-focused positive attitude at all times.
Additional Notes
  • Must be willing and able to work in a field environment in all weather conditions and noisy environments.
  • Must be willing and able to work as needed on a 24/7 basis.
  • Travel to field required daily.
