Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Job Description

This role provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care. As a Nurse Extern, you will function under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse and perform specific and assigned tasks that support all patient populations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide adequate daily patient care and report information to Team Leader
  • Create a safe and confidential environment for the patient
  • Accept accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrate reliability and dependability, adhere to attendance policies, and utilize time and resources efficiently
  • Reflect the values of HCA Healthcare and our ethics and compliance principles in daily activities
  • Commit to working 24 hours per month
Requirements
  • Must be currently enrolled in an approved RN Program and completed Fundamentals of Nursing
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required
