POSITION SUMMARY:
Judit Inc. has been a provider of exceptional healthcare services since its inception. The organization is committed to delivering quality medical care through a team of skilled professionals and state-of-the-art technology. The facility, equipped with over 130 beds, stands as a prominent community hospital in the Fredericksburg region, offering a comprehensive array of inpatient and outpatient services, including a 24-hour emergency department, advanced surgical suites, a cancer treatment center, cutting-edge imaging services, cardiovascular care, maternity and neonatal services, critical care, and mental health services.
Role Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the admission and discharge processes to promote efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Engages in continuous evaluation of the quality of care delivered within the unit, collaborating with the management team.
- Works alongside subject matter experts and fellow managers to foster a collaborative environment that enhances patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Embraces a patient-centered approach and actively participates in service recovery initiatives when required.
- Contributes to enhancing staff engagement by implementing current nursing strategies, including regular employee check-ins and hourly rounds.
- Provides input on the recruitment, selection, and training of new personnel.
- Advises on and executes strategies related to training and development, conflict resolution, adherence to personnel policies, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions to ensure organizational excellence.
- Assists in scheduling staff effectively.
- Oversees all operational aspects of staff labor in alignment with patient care requirements and established productivity standards.
- Ensures proper inventory management and aids in the oversight of supplies and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current licensure from the Virginia Board of Nursing (or a multi-state compact license with eligibility for practice in Virginia).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) is mandatory upon hire.
- PALS and ACLS certifications are required within six months of hire; TNCC certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in an emergency room setting is essential.
- Willingness to float between various emergency care locations is necessary.
- Experience as an ER Manager, Coordinator, or Charge Nurse is required.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Full-time, with rotating weekend shifts.
COMPENSATION:
$48 per hour
