- Oversee special projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Track project advancements, recognize potential challenges, and apply corrective measures as necessary.
- Maintain a well-organized record of all special project data.
- Collaborate with the sales team to grasp customer needs and offer technical assistance throughout the sales cycle.
- Work in conjunction with manufacturing and product development teams to guarantee the manufacturability and quality of custom solutions.
- Partner with the costing manager to ensure the profitability of special projects.
- Conduct feasibility analyses and risk evaluations for new initiatives.
- Familiarize with structural BIFMA testing standards.
- Identify areas for process enhancements and implement modifications to improve efficiency and quality.
- Engage in new product development discussions and provide constructive insights to support special initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar engineering capacity, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in CAD software, specifically SOLIDWORKS.
- Experience with specialized manufacturing techniques and materials.
- Knowledge of ADEPT or other Product Data Management (PDM) software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
