Job Summary
Clark College is seeking a part-time Geography Professor to join our team. As a Geography Professor, you will be responsible for teaching geography courses, advising students, and participating in departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach geography courses, including lectures and labs, using active learning approaches that engage and facilitate student learning.
  • Advise and assist students in their educational and career development, providing guidance on academic and professional goals.
  • Participate in program and curriculum development, ensuring that courses are relevant and effective in meeting student needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, businesses, and educational partners to create unique learning opportunities for students.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees, contributing to decision-making processes and promoting a culture of equity and inclusion.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in Geography or a closely related field, with significant graduate coursework in geography.
  • Teaching experience, with a proven track record of effective instruction and student engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, including students, faculty, and staff.
