About Us:

UMFS' Charterhouse School is a leading institution that provides a unique educational experience for children with special needs. Our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential by offering a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on academic and social skills instruction.

Our Population:

We serve children aged 6 to 22 with autism and other neurological differences, emotional, learning, developmental, and intellectual disabilities, as well as other impairments. Our student-to-teacher ratio is 8:1, ensuring personalized attention and support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavioral support and intervention to students
  • Assist with instructional delivery and implementation of educational programs
  • Serve as a liaison between students, teachers, and administrative staff
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a safe and secure learning environment
  • Engage in professional development and required trainings

Requirements:

We are seeking a qualified candidate with a Bachelor's degree in a human services field and two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience and skills.
