Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage construction teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, diaries, and other project documents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in construction contract management, preferably in bridge and structures construction projects.
  • California registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
  • Valid California Class C driver's license and an acceptable driver's record.
Preferred Skills
  • Working knowledge of CALTRANS methods and procedures and municipal agency projects.
  • Document coordination on federally funded projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with computer programs such as Word, Excel, and engineering calculations.
