Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing HR functions across three hospitals in Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support to employees and managers, addressing workplace concerns and promoting a positive and inclusive culture.
  • Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues, providing detailed reports and collaborating with HRBPs and legal counsel as needed.
  • Coach leaders through performance concerns and assist with necessary documentation to address misconduct, policy violations, and poor performance.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Administer leave of absences and accommodations, ensuring compliance with local and federal laws.
  • Participate in the interactive process to determine Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance and reasonable accommodations.
  • Complete background checks, order equipment, and assist new hires with onboarding paperwork.
  • Leverage data and analytics to generate meaningful HR insights and strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Support leaders in the recruiting process, helping to screen potential candidates, schedule interviews, and prepare offer letters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or at least 4 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in management and 2 years of employee relations investigation experience.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience working with HRIS systems.
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to be neutral and impartial when mediating conflict.
  • Exemplary problem-solving skills and ability to efficiently identify, determine cause, and propose/implement solutions.
