Flatwater Bank is seeking a skilled Senior Lending Specialist to expand loan relationships and develop new business in our Ansley, NE market. The successful candidate will be handling all types of loans including Ag, Commercial, and Consumer Lending. A background in agriculture or related field is recommended, and prior lending experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will develop knowledge of this market as well as our products and services and work to explain loan options, rates, terms, and collateral requirements to customers and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate creditworthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
  • Maintain and update account records
  • Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels, and cross-sell products and services to accomplish goals
  • Go the extra mile to build trust relationships, customer loyalty, and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process
  • Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Requirements:
  • Proven working experience as a loan officer or similar role
  • Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a goal-oriented environment
  • BS degree in agribusiness or ag finance, economics or a related field
