Position Overview
As a Senior Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for addressing and resolving guest maintenance requests efficiently. Your role will involve communicating effectively with guests to troubleshoot and rectify maintenance challenges. You will also conduct preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and well-lubricated.

Key Responsibilities
1. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
2. Perform routine inspections of the property to identify safety hazards and equipment malfunctions.
3. Carry out preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment.
4. Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as necessary.
5. Exhibit expertise in at least three of the following areas: air conditioning, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
6. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards during all maintenance activities.

Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a technical diploma program in HVAC or refrigeration is preferred.

Experience:
- Significant experience in general maintenance and advanced repairs.
- A minimum of two years in hotel engineering or maintenance roles is desirable.

Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License.
- Refrigeration or electrical certification (or in progress).
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification is required.
