JOB SUMMARY: The Food Service Manager oversees the operational management of the dining establishment. This role requires close collaboration with staff and patrons to ensure a seamless dining experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Deliver prompt and courteous service to all guests.
  2. Maintain effective communication with customers and team members.
  3. Follow established product preparation guidelines.
  4. Utilize appropriate equipment for food preparation and service.
  5. Operate machinery in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  6. Conduct daily inventory checks using designated forms.
  7. Comply with health and safety regulations regarding food handling.
  8. Practice proper hand hygiene.
  9. Ensure correct glove usage.
  10. Maintain food items within safe temperature ranges.
  11. Store food products according to type and safety standards.
  12. Label opened and prepared food items with dates and times.
  13. Regularly assess food products to discard expired items.
  14. Document product temperatures on food logs at least once per shift.
  15. Implement corrective measures for items in the temperature danger zone.
  16. Receive and verify deliveries from approved suppliers.
  17. Adhere to uniform standards.
  18. Manage and track product inventory.
  19. Assemble orders for customers as requested.
  20. Process financial transactions accurately.
  21. Utilize timekeeping systems to record work hours.
  22. Complete end-of-shift paperwork.
  23. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors and restrooms.
  24. Dispose of waste properly both inside and outside the establishment.
  25. Ensure outdoor areas are clean and presentable.
  26. Adjust food items as necessary.
  27. Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Communicate effectively with all team members.
  3. Adapt to changes and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  4. Support the company's mission and values.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service.
  6. Complete daily administrative tasks.
  7. Participate in the recruitment and hiring process.
  8. Conduct performance evaluations for team members.
  9. Manage disciplinary actions when necessary.
  10. Create staff schedules while adhering to budget constraints.
  11. Facilitate training for new hires.
  12. Respond to internal communications regularly.
  13. Review and submit payroll documentation as required.
  14. Order supplies from approved vendors.
  15. Coordinate with headquarters for procedural support.
  16. Collaborate with maintenance for facility repairs.
  17. Ensure the establishment is clean and well-maintained.
  18. Organize and lead regular team meetings.
  19. Attend management meetings as required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  1. Prolonged periods of standing are required.
  2. Physical ability to lift and move items over 55 lbs.
  3. Occasional bending, reaching, and climbing may be necessary.
  4. Some travel may be involved.
