Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at the Department of the Navy. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting our networks and systems from cyber threats and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect our networks and systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats.
  • Implement security measures to prevent and respond to cyber attacks.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure the security of our systems and data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
