The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to the Operations team by emphasizing and conducting safety assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and document various safety exercises and real-life events to ensure compliance with Joint Commission emergency planning standards.
- Survey hospital facilities to assess compliance with OSHA, Joint Commission, and state licensing standards.
- Update hospital policies and procedures specific to life safety practices.
- Monitor contractor compliance with hospital safety expectations.
- Develop and provide training to new employees during orientation.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of OSHA, CMS, Joint Commission, State Licensing, NFPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Excellent documentation skills.
