Job Title: For Eyes

At LUXOTTICA OF AMERICA INC, we are seeking a highly skilled Optical Expert to join our team. As a key member of our optical department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert eye care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
  • Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing a voice for associates and ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Take and record measurements, adjust or fit eyewear correctly, and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer requirements.
  • Attract new customers and explore their needs and priorities by asking open-ended questions.
  • Utilize store tools and adhere to Brand Store Commitments.
  • Perform work accurately and thoroughly, utilizing all technology despite time pressure and customer volume.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • State Licensure.
  • Optical dispensing experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and team building.
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Awareness of current fashion trends.
  • Selling skills, including the ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
  • Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
