Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to join our team at Medical City Arlington. As a key member of our respiratory care department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading a team of respiratory therapists.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to respiratory therapists in the delivery of patient care.
  • Oversee daily shift operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including patient charts and departmental reports.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence.
Requirements
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP), or State Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification.
