Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy department, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and that the department runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the Respiratory Therapy team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure that all staff members are properly trained and equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP), or State Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation certification.
