Front Office Coordinator

Job Summary
">The Front Office Coordinator provides professional and efficient management of visitors, consumers, telephone calls and messages, as well as a variety of clerical duties that support office support functions.
This includes answering employee questions regarding their specific areas of assignment, verification of experience, and maintaining accurate files. The role assists employees, administrators, and the general public with staffing, experience, and compensation.
Main Responsibilities

- Manages the site's lobby area.
- Ensures completion of paperwork, sign-in, and security procedures.
- Honors confidential information.
- Answers phone calls in a pleasant, informed manner for purposes of providing information and creating a good image for the school district.
- Assists in all aspects of maintaining a professional front office.
- Understands and abides by the District's philosophy and mission statement.
- Exhibits high standards of professional conduct.
- Sits for long periods of time.
- Types routine correspondence, memoranda, reports, and other office documents.
- Receives and refers visitors to appropriate offices.
- Establishes and maintains satisfactory working relationships with other employees, parents, and the general public.
- Enters information or data to computer following established procedures.
- Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
- Supports the Laurel School District Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan.
