Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician II to join our team at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (Supply Chain) in Litchfield Park, AZ. As an Industrial Electrician II, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, maintain, and perform minor repairs, maintenance, and improvements to electrical systems
  • Read, interpret, and implement work orders using a CMMS system
  • Effectively communicate verbally, written, and via email
  • Use strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members
  • Be safety-minded in all work performed
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Gather needed materials to complete repairs/work orders
  • Accurately track and store the department's inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment
  • Support continuous improvement within all departments
  • Be flexible with work hours and days (24-hour, 7-day operation, including holidays)
  • Operate (PID) Powered Industrial Trucks, including people movers and forklifts
  • Assess and resolve a wide array of maintenance issues on-site, including electrical systems, lighting, and controls
  • Have knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment
  • Be aware of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations
  • Be a motivated, self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions
  • Read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks using tools and equipment
  • Lead, plan, and execute electrical repairs
  • Assist other Maintenance Technicians
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in electrical maintenance/construction or relative trade/technical school equivalency
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment
  • Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations
  • Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents
  • Material Handling System controls experience
  • Flexibility with work hours and days (24-hour, 7-day operation, including holidays)
  • Ability to drive (PIT) Powered Industrial Trucks, including people movers and forklifts
  • Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
Physical Requirements
  • May need to crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to operate tools in close proximity to electrical components
  • Ability to work at heights and unusual positions
  • Able to safely operate all hand tools
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
  • Able to operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet-jacks, and handcarts
  • Must be able to tolerate an environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and work around moving equipment – often while working in uncomfortable positions
  • Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
  • Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces
  • Occasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Comfortable with walking/standing 100% of the day
