About the Role:

The Industrial Electrician II will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, controls, and power distribution.
  • Read, interpret, and implement work orders using a CMMS system.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Use strong interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts and improve team performance.
  • Be safety-minded in all work performed and adhere to company safety policies.
  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot electrical issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Gather necessary materials and tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Accurately track and store inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the facilities department.
  • Be flexible with work hours and days, including 24/7 operation and holidays.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet-jacks, and handcarts.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance, construction, or a related trade.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
  • Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Material Handling System controls experience.
  • Flexibility with work hours and days.
  • Ability to drive powered industrial trucks (PITs).
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to operate tools in close proximity to electrical components.
  • Ability to work at heights and in unusual positions.
  • Able to safely operate all hand tools.
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
  • Able to operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet-jacks, and handcarts.
