We're seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in Lake Oswego.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain clean and organized workstations
* Practice safe and sanitary food handling
* Continuously educate yourself on Japanese cuisine and beverages
* Follow company policies, state, and food safety standards
* Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Requirements:

* 1+ year of experience in high-volume and/or guest-facing food service kitchens
* Knowledge of proper food and drink handling & storage
* Sushi Chefs: 1-2 years of culinary experience or education preferred

Work Environment:

* Fast-paced full service restaurant with frequent distractions and loud noises

Physical Demands:

* Maneuver about inside the restaurant/office to access food/beverage items, machinery, and other restaurant equipment
* Operate basic office equipment
* Operate basic restaurant equipment
* Ascend/descend a ladder or stairs to service the machinery, lights, ceiling fans, etc.
* Be able to exchange accurate information while communicating with customers
* Be able to distinguish different tastes, i.e., sweet and bitter flavors

Salary Description:

Competitive wages starting at $20.00 with wages + tips averaging up to $/hour
