Job Overview

We are offering a unique leadership role as a Chemical Management Service Specialist within a global supply chain organization that designs products for high-stakes sectors such as aerospace, defense, marine, and industrial applications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service abilities and experience in inventory management, along with foundational skills in personnel oversight within warehouse or production settings.

Compensation: $19-$21/hr based on experience

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a small team of 1-3 individuals focused on the inventory management of chemicals.
  • Engage with customer representatives to address discrepancies and manage product non-conformances.
  • Conduct inventory assessments to support cost-saving measures and enhance operational processes.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism in customer interactions and maintain excellent communication skills.
  • Perform routine inventory checks to monitor shelf life and expiration dates as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Experience in chemical management or inventory control is essential.
  • Basic experience in managing personnel within warehouse or production environments is required.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
