Senior Transportation Engineer

At WSB and Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will play a lead role in the design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other groups/disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clients.
- Perform tasks including 3D modelling, roadway design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation.
- Help with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, and public involvement and other presentation opportunities.
- Oversee the work of EITs or Technicians.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school.
- 5+ years of experience in Transportation design with TxDOT and/or Municipal clients.
- The ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents.
- A functional understanding of design software packages, preferably MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer.
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- A TX PE license or the ability to obtain their license within six months.
