Position Overview: This role is designed for individuals who are eager to engage in business analysis and contribute to the enhancement of organizational processes.

Contract Type: Short-term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and assessments of business systems and user requirements.
  • Develop strategies that align with overarching business objectives.
  • Engage in business process optimization and explore innovative technological applications to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed solution alternatives, risk assessments, and financial evaluations, including cost/benefit analyses and return on investment calculations.
  • Document user requirements, program functionalities, and the necessary steps for software development or modification.

Advanced Responsibilities:

  • Execute senior-level business evaluations and strategic planning under the guidance of the Section Director.
  • Participate in the formulation of business analysis, process planning, and the development and implementation of agency policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate project activities and team efforts to meet departmental goals and objectives.
  • Analyze operations and issues, preparing comprehensive reports with findings and recommendations.
  • Provide consultative services and technical support to design, implement, and monitor effective programs and services.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient understanding of business and management principles related to evaluation, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Strong analytical skills for business, program, and system analysis.
  • Ability to develop and monitor goals, objectives, and procedures effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex information to diverse audiences.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in business analysis, process planning, and procedure development.
  • Experience in project coordination and preparation of administrative reports.
  • Familiarity with developing management and workflow reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of strategic planning and project management principles.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and analytical problem-solving techniques.

Work Environment: This position operates in a collaborative environment with a focus on teamwork and independent initiative.
