About the Role

Premise Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in Pittsburg, PA. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in our Health Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative tasks, complete client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provide assistance at the front desk
  • Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts
  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination, clean and sterilize instruments, and inventory medical supplies
  • Operate electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests, give injections or treatments, and perform routine laboratory tests
  • Schedule appointments and make follow-up phone calls to patients
  • Key data into computer to maintain clinic and patient records
Requirements
  • National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization or Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands-on externship completed and passed
  • CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer) Certification
  • Lab Certificate (NV only) preferred
