Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at East Liberty Family Health Care Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers by performing various administrative and clinical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, and respiratory rate.
  • Translate and interpret medical information between healthcare providers and patients.
  • Provide basic wound care and apply dressings.
  • Record patient information, medical histories, and vital signs accurately in electronic health records (EHR) or medical charts.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language, both spoken and written.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
