Position Overview

The standard working hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Opportunities for both full-time and locum tenens positions are available, accompanied by competitive compensation packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct all facets of therapeutic radiation oncology.
  • Engage in advanced techniques such as 3-D beam planning, Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hematology/oncology and surgical specialties, to ensure optimal management of patients with malignancies.
  • Evaluate and devise treatment plans, ensuring clinical suitability and precision in targeting both tumor and normal structures.
  • Participate in weekly Tumor Board meetings and provide follow-up care for patients.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
  • Possess an active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Hold a valid DEA license and provide an NPI report printout.
  • Successfully pass a federal background investigation.
Physical Requirements

Candidates must be capable of performing the following physical activities during their work shift:

  • Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, squatting, bending, twisting, and reaching above shoulder height.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs from floor to waist and carrying up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
  • Exerting a push/pull force of up to 30 lbs.
