At iCST, we're seeking a skilled Enterprise Cloud Solution Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position, but occasional on-site work may be required.

Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced engineer who can provide technical expertise and support for cloud-related issues in our enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services, as well as administrator certifications in Azure and/or AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for cloud-related questions, technical expertise, administration, and support problems.
  • Provide rapid notification of issues that impact the enterprise cloud environment to COPA management.
  • Assist with basic design and implementation of cloud architectures and cloud technologies that meet COPA's technical, security, and business needs.
  • Provide expert-level advice and guidance on IT issues relating to cloud technologies.
  • Work with CoPA Delivery Center teams to define cloud architecture, design, and implementation plans for hosting IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS workloads on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Work with COPA Security team to ensure cloud solutions meet all security policy requirements.
  • Implement cloud auditing, backup, and recovery, DR, HA solutions to increase security stance and minimize risk of data loss and protection.
  • Provide incident resolution focusing on root cause analysis, prevention, and knowledge transfer.
  • Create and maintain support documentation, architecture diagrams, and communications.
  • Manage escalations with cloud service providers and other vendors for timely resolution of operational and design issues.
Requirements
  • Must pass an extensive background check.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a System Engineer and/or Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience dealing with implementation, security, and standards/best practices in a hybrid enterprise cloud hosting environment (AWS and Azure).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services cloud services.
  • In-depth knowledge of on-premises networking as well as the hybrid connectivity to AWS and/or Azure (via Direct Connect and/or ExpressRoute).
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
